Warren tries to carry on with his life, despite the ongoing threats and the discovery that Rex is working for Blue.
With the twins' naming ceremony due to take place, Warren is jumpy. The McQueens snub the event, so they mark the occasion with Dave, Cindy, Joel and Leela. Norma is still believed to be on business in Italy.
During the celebrations, Warren gets a CCTV notification alerting him of someone entering his house.
Warren is shocked to discover Rex alive. Rex tells Warren that Blue wants his drug stash. Mercedes walks in, overhearing the conversation. Warren is forced to admit that he didn't get rid of the drugs.
Warren promises Mercedes that he'll protect the family and starts making plans to get rid of the drugs. Mercedes is incandescent with rage and warns Rex that she is the person that he should be afraid of, throwing him out of the house.
Mercedes and Warren have a huge showdown with an ultimatum – he needs to turn his back on crime.
Meanwhile, Misbah's future with Donny appears to be in jeopardy as she demands to know why he is in possession of blue bullets, having claimed to know nothing about the motorcycle killer.
With Misbah wanting answers, she gives Donny an ultimatum. Donny opens up to her, admitting that he used to be a police officer who was looking for Blue, but the search to find the criminal became his obsession.
Later, Blue holds a meeting with one of his cohorts and his identity is finally revealed.
Blue vows not to stop until he has taken Warren's family from him and promises fireworks ahead.
Elsewhere, Vicky has a trial shift at The Loft, but things don't go to plan when Leah and Andre come in. With her best friend's interest elsewhere, Leah embarrasses Vicky in front of Ethan. Andre and Leah sell water guns in the park – and Leah discovers a bullet wound on Andre.
Also today, Grace is looking after Lexi but accidentally scares her with her real-life detective stories. Freddie is torn by Grace's unconventional approach to parenting.
Tuesday
Warren hides out at home and vows to go straight. Blue looms large in the village with the stash of drugs to shift. With no new messages from Blue, Warren dares to think that he can start again and be a family man.
With Misbah in on his secret, Donny has someone to bounce his Blue theories off, as he sifts through pictures and press cuttings. Donny is getting warmer.
Donny tells Misbah their invite to Warren and Mercedes' BBQ is a great opportunity for him to try and do some digging on Blue.
As Misbah spills the tea to the girls about her new love, Warren tells the lads that his future looks bright now that he has found love with Mercedes and changed his ways.
Meanwhile, Joel tells Leela that Warren has asked for them to be godparents to the twins. Leela admits how hard she finds it being around them. Joel scores heroin – from his dad Warren's stash. Joel goes to Norma's flat to take the drugs.
Blue plans to move Norma's body dressed for a crime scene. He breaks into the flat and finds Joel in a drug haze. Walking the twins, Warren sees someone moving around the flat and heads up, interrupting Blue.
Wednesday
Blue continues to hide in plain sight. Mercedes pleads with Warren to keep his promise and stay straight.
Warren is caring for Joel and is exhausted after not sleeping last night. Leela tells Mercedes that she's worried about Joel pulling away from her. Mercedes warns Joel that she won't cover for him again and tells him to get his head straight.
Meanwhile, Ro plans to use his wage on tickets for a sports event for him and Dee Dee. Ant is left upset when Diane refuses to pay him for slacking. Ro is shocked to discover Ant has stolen his wages to buy the video game he wanted.
Elsewhere, it's the day of Nancy's plea hearing and she's looking forward to clearing her name. Frankie is excited as she reads about dance school, and JJ receives the news that he got the United contract.
The Osbornes are delighted with their star boy. As JJ rides the wave of his success, it's harder for Frankie as Nancy's trial for pushing her beckons.
Thursday
Tony is preoccupied trying to find a way to help Beau. However, Diane tells her husband that she needs him present for the family at home, concerned at Ant's latest behaviour.
Ro turns up at the folly to meet the trans boy he thinks he's been speaking to online.
Tony has arranged a pub quiz but Diane is worn out left to deal with it. Tony rushes in, apologising to Diane for not being there.
Later, the Hutchinsons gather round to look at social media posts for the event in The Dog. A picture of Ro comes up, with a message calling him "a freak". Diane is distraught.
Meanwhile, Nancy is worried that she might get found guilty and tells Darren he'll have to choose either her or the twins, as they both can't live in the same house. Darren reassures her the court will see she's innocent.
Darren asks Frankie to go over what happened once again the night she fell down the stairs, wanting to help his wife.
Elsewhere, Theresa reaches out to Mercedes and apologises for not being at the naming ceremony and tells her she may have a way to reunite her with the family. Theresa reminds her family how many chances they've all had.
Also today, Dilly tells Jez he's being indispensable to her, Liberty and Sienna.
Friday
Frankie is leaving for dance school and it's JJ's day to sign for his football club.
As the Osbornes head off to football, Darren tells Nancy that he thinks he is close to finding out what is wrong with Frankie.
At the club, JJ plays happy families but Frankie is alarmed when JJ says he is going to visit her at dance school.
Back at the pub flat, the Osbornes celebrate JJ's signing. Downstairs in the empty pub, Darren makes a breakthrough with Frankie and she tells him about the abuse.
Meanwhile, Diane is trying to get the binding photo of Ro taken down. Diane talks to Ro, who says he has nobody to talk to, which is why he talked to a stranger online and he opens up about how difficult he is finding puberty.
Diane is heartbroken when Ro tells her that she can only see problems – not him as a person.
